The M/T Masinop was successfully launched at the Herma Industrial Complex in Mariveles, Bataan, last January 13, 2009, at approximately 2145H. Members of Herma Shipping & Transport Corporation, Herma Shipyard Inc., Petrotrade Philippines Inc., and Herma Corporation were on hand to witness the momentous event. Excitement filled the air as the M/T Masinop was smoothly launched and the crowd cheered as the M/T Masinop became afloat. The M/T Masinop is a 12,000 bbl double hull tanker which is slated to be  chartered by Chevron Philippines this coming March 2009. It is the second tanker to be built by Herma Shipyard Inc.
