Ms. Diamond Balajadia and Mr. Wilfredo Fabian of the Chevron Supply Optimization Group recently visited the M/T Marangal. They were accompanied by HSTC?s Chartering Manager, Mr. Peter S. Huang. The visit is part of the orientation program of the Supply Optimization Group, which is tasked to process the hauling bills of HSTC.

The group proceeded to Batangas in time for the arrival of the M/T Marangal. and were welcomed by Mr. Dante Diaz, Scheduler, and Mr. Ariel Padilla, Stock Loss Analyst.

Upon arrival, the crew of M/T Marangal demonstrated their expertise in loading operations starting with how they expertly maneuvered to secure the vessel to the designated Chevron berth. After which, the crew also showed how the loading arm was connected while Capt. Leovino de los Santos explained the entire process. The Chevron representatives carefully observed the loading operations and gamely participated in some operational demonstration like temperature and measurement reading. .

The visit to the M/T Marangal was truly an educational one and the Chevron representatives expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to visit the vessel in its last few voyages. The M/T Marangal was sold recently to a foreign shipping company Zimbali Marine S.A. of the Marshall Islands.
